You can make an appointment or come in on a walk-in basis on weekdays from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs. This does not apply for the passport office at Schiphol Airport.

Are you a Dutch national living abroad? Apply for your passport at the passport office at Schiphol Airport.
Get a passport urgently
You can apply for an urgent renewal of your passport. Your passport will be ready to collect in 2 business days. There is an additional fee for urgent renewals.
A lost, stolen or damaged passport
You can report a lost or stolen passport at the civil affairs office and apply for a new one. If your passport was stolen, we advise you to also report the theft to the police. Is your passport damaged? Apply for a new passport at the civil affairs office.
Travelling with children
Children need their own travel documents (passport or identity card) to travel abroad. See the next page 'what to bring'.
You can apply for a business passport. This is a passport with extra pages, 66 in stead of the 34 pages in an ordinary passport.
Alien's or Refugees travel passport
Do you have a Dutch residence permit, but not a Dutch nationality? You can apply for an alien or refugee passport. Contact us for more information.
Every country has their own rules for foreigners visiting that country. In some cases your Dutch passport will suffice as a travel document. You are fingerprinted for your passport. We need prints of 2 fingers. Children under the age of 12 are not fingerprinted.
